We were treated to a superb concert on Saturday to an enthusiastic full house; three rarely performed musical jewels by Brahms, Dohnanyi and Elgar were deftly played--the composers would have been thrilled to have been in the audience. It was a musical moment that captured what is best about chamber music. Thanks to Joel Cohen for putting together this unique and beautiful musical program and fine ensemble of first class players.
Roy Malan (violin), Philp Santos (violin), Elizabeth Prior (viola), Elena Casanova (piano), Joel Cohen (cello)
