2nd Annual DVCMS Summer Fundraiser: Music in the Vineyard


When: Sunday, July 24 at 6:30 p.m.

Deep Valley Chamber Music Series is presenting an evening of Music in the Vineyard on Sunday, July 24 to help support its upcoming fourth season of bringing world-class chamber music to the Ukiah valley. The evening will start with desserts, snacks, wine and other beverages on the patio of Parducci Winery at 6:30 pm.

Surrounded by beautiful vineyards, guests will enjoy a series of musical performances showcasing some of the best musical talent in our community.

The musical performances will start at 7 pm and include:
Violinist Alejandro Gracia and pianist Dorothy Sugawara playing the last movement of Beethoven’s Spring Sonata.
The premiere of a trio for flute, clarinet, and horn (Cathy Hall, David Scollin, Ally Beasley) composed by Chamber Series board member David Smith and commissioned by local winemaker John Buechsenstein in honor of his three daughters
Violinist Holly Fagan and pianist David Cory Anderson playing movements from Brahms’ second violin sonata
David Smith’s Neon Trio for violin, cello and piano, performed by Holly Fagan, Joel Cohen and Elena Casanova
Elena Casanova and Joel Cohen playing movements from Brahms’ second sonata for cello and piano

Tickets are $40 for the fundraiser. Directions: Take the Lake Mendocino Drive exit off of Highway 101, just a few miles north of Ukiah. Turn west and go a short distance to Tollini Lane. Turn right on Tollini and follow the signs to the winery.
